One Silent Night By Sherrilyn Kenyon

"While the world carried on unawares, Stryker, who leads an army of demons and vampires, is plotting an all-out onslaught against his enemies-which. unfortunately for us, includes the entire human race. To avenge his sister, Stryker prepares to annihilate the Dark Hunters. But things go awry when his oldest enemy returns. Enter his ex-wife Zephyra. Just when he thought nothing could stop him, he's now embroiled in a centuries -old war with a shrew who gives new meaning to pain."

Ah book number 27 of the Dark Hunter Series you would think I would be bored by now but I can't seem to get enough, even though my bank account thinks it is ridiculous lol The Greek gods play second fiddle in this book to Strykers anger and passions. Oddly enough the Heifer Goddess Artemis isn't in this one at all and Ash has a minimal role at the end along with a few other of my favorites Nick and Savitar. I read that there are maybe 5 more books in the series and that Savitar will get his own book as well :D I just love the mixing of Greek and Antlantean myth with Vampires, Shifters, and Weres. God bolts and hot passion always make the normal world of day care go by faster.

Of course this installment does the whole good and bad join forces to destroy the even more b ad and the go back to being mortal enemies. Even though you have the feeling that eventually they will all unite to keep the world safe.

Again an addictive series full of suspense and a lot of characters spread out with different backgrounds and stories.

oh, the joys of OCD! just so Ms. Kenyon doesn't up and die before finishing the series, like Robert Jordan did with Wheel Of Time.
